SSE Setup Features

  • Extremely easy to use; SSE Setup is NOT some complicated scripting language! It uses a well-designed GUI program to create and manage your installs (alternatively, if you're the type that likes to "code", you can create installs by doing some manual typing).

  • No need to tell SSE Setup to do things that 99% of people expect! With many installers, you have to specifically tell it to do every little thing. Not so with SSE Setup. Because it is designed to be "Simple, Smart, and Easy" it automatically handles many things for you with good standard defaults!

  • Works with all 32-bit versions of Windows from Windows 95 on, with all 64-bit x64 Windows versions, and with a Pentium 133mhz/16MB RAM or better!

  • The ability to allow both upgrade and patch support for your programs! Automatically can detect previous versions of your program and can either patch them or upgrade to a new version.

  • Fully integrated Internet Updater solution that can download and install needed patches or upgrades!

  • Customizable GUI looks including 6 built-in wizard interfaces and 1 classic "old school" interface.

  • Easy packaging of your installation into a .ZIP, Self-extracting .EXE (which will automatically run Setup after extraction), or for CD/DVD burning.

  • Creates final install packages smaller in file size then many other install packages, including some of the most popular ones!

  • Non-Admin install support. You can create an install that a non-admin can run!

  • .NET framework download ability if user doesn't have and it's needed for your program.

  • Can replace "in use" system files and automatically determines if a reboot is necessary
